BAITHAKS
Baithak - literally means Lounge- a small intimate, cozy and comfortable space where like minded people get together to enjoy various performing arts. Every such The Natanam Baithaks showcase upcoming young artistes along with renowned artistes presenting their art form to a select audience.
This gives a platform to the new upcoming artiste and promotes Indian classical music and dance. At the same time, it allows them to closely interact with stalwarts in the field, learning, understanding and enhancing their own art form. This platform for young artistes gives them the confidence to build on their art forms and later present it to a bigger audiences in bigger auditoriums.
Baithaks are planned as a bi- monthly event ( every two months). The limited seating (100 only) is a mix of chairs for senior citizens and Indian Baithak style for others.
